Restaurants in Ocean City

There are many good restaurants in Ocean City. We have not been to all of them, so please feel free to try some out yourself and let us know what you think! Here are the ones Claire and I have been to several times and enjoy very much. This is by no means exhaustive. If a restaurant is not on our list it does not mean it is not good, just that we have not been there. You can check google maps with a search for restaurants in Ocean City Md to see other options. Check the coupon books for free offers, often $5 off or free appetizers are available.

Fine Dining

Fine dining is a bit upscale fine dining with white table clothes and waiters and waitresses in suits. You can still dress casually, but the food is a bit higher class, as is the price.

  • We like the Hobbit on 81st, great bay views
  • Liquid Assets at 94th
  • Fager’s Island has a fine dining and casual dining area with great view of bay
  • Across the bridge in West Ocean city there is Ruth Chris Steak house.
  • Sunset Grill in West Ocean City

Casual

You can dine in shorts and tee shirt and not stand out- plenty of choices! A standout in West Ocean City is the Sunset Grill, which has added a second deck. Others include Crab Bag, Crab Alley, Captains Galley, Hooper’s, Harpoon Hanna’s, Fish tails, Marina Deck, and Harborside Bar and Grill. Chain restaurants like Carrabba’s and Outback are in West Ocean City and a bit lower cost but good food. Lower cost Mexican with good food is Tequila Mockingbird in North Ocean City on 130th St. Some casual fun places are de Lazy Lizard and Dead Freddie’s – they have a bar as well as serve dinner, along with a playground area for kids, bag toss area, with great view of the bay. Seacrets is a large bar with bands, disco, as well as dining area. You can pull a boat up and they will bring food and drink to your boat.

Buffets

We have been to Bon Fire, Clarion,  and Embers. We liked the Bon Fire more; it was a bit more expensive. The Clarion has great ocean views and a nice buffet.

Breakfast

Great Breakfast crepes and omelets at Bayside Skillet on 77th st. General’s Kitchen is also a guest favorite. We also like Bad Monkey for Breakfast and Happy Hour.
